AMS Public Transport proposes re-appointing Grant Thornton Hong Kong as auditor; FY2027 audit fee estimated at HK$0.63–0.68 million

Bulletin Express
Oct 14

AMS Public Transport Holdings Limited announced that its Board, acting on the Audit Committee’s recommendation, will seek shareholder approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM) to re-appoint Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited (GTHK) as the Group’s auditor. The proposed mandate covers the period from the close of the 2026 AGM to the conclusion of the 2027 AGM.

The estimated audit fee for GTHK to review the Group’s consolidated financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2027 is projected to range between HK$0.63 million and HK$0.68 million, exclusive of out-of-pocket expenses. The fee estimate reflects arm’s-length discussions and factors in historical audit costs, the Group’s size and structure, business complexity, anticipated audit scope, reporting requirements, timetable, and resource needs.

Management noted that the estimate assumes no material changes to the Group’s operations, accounting policies, or regulatory environment during FY2027 and presumes timely cooperation with auditors. Absent significant deviations from these assumptions, the final audit fee is not expected to vary materially from the disclosed range.

All other information in the Company’s 22 July 2026 circular remains unchanged. The supplemental announcement was issued in Hong Kong on 14 October 2026 and signed by Chairman Wong Ling Sun, Vincent, on behalf of the Board.
