HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) disclosed that on 14 September 2026 it repurchased a total of 1.11 million ordinary shares as part of the US$3 billion buy-back programme launched on 5 August 2026.

Key details of the latest transactions • UK venues: 800,000 shares bought for cancellation at prices ranging from £15.2980 to £15.5660, with a volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of £15.3331. • Hong Kong Stock Exchange: 314,400 shares acquired at prices between HK$163.10 and HK$164.90, with a VWAP of HK$164.0240.

Cumulative programme statistics (5 August – 14 September 2026) • Shares repurchased: 29.53 million. • Aggregate consideration: US$609.60 million. • Post-cancellation issued ordinary share capital: 17.16 billion shares, representing the current total voting rights.

All UK trades were executed as on-exchange “market purchases” under the Companies Act 2006, while Hong Kong transactions were classified as “on-market share buy-backs” under local regulations. Shares bought on UK venues have already been cancelled; cancellation of Hong Kong-purchased shares will follow, with a further total-voting-rights update to be released in due course.
