Tennis tournaments, farming competitions, health runs... In Yuxin Town, Nanhu District, sports and rural life complement each other perfectly. Well-equipped sports facilities are ubiquitous, and scenes of villagers exercising daily have become commonplace.

Rural sports, characterized by "event-driven platforms and cultural-tourism integration," inject strong momentum into rural revitalization. In recent years, Yuxin Town has leveraged cultural and sports activities as a key driver to continuously foster the community's upward and virtuous endogenous motivation.

The "All-People in Motion" table tennis exchange tournament held on October 18 brought together friends through the sport, showcasing spirited competition. The three-on-three basketball event on November 1 ignited the town's passion for the game, while the badminton competition on November 15 saw thrilling matches and intense rivalries.

As a key part of the 30th "Yuli Ballad" Cultural Festival series, the "All-People in Motion" initiative—aligned with the provincial government's 2025 pledge for 10,000 sports events—featured 40 teams competing across villages, communities, government offices, and enterprises. These events highlighted the fitness culture among workers and residents, creating a vibrant atmosphere for mass sports and driving high-quality integration of culture and athletics.

The "Yuli Ballad" Cultural Festival not only strengthened camaraderie among participants but also ignited enthusiasm for mass sports, enhancing teamwork and collective pride. These activities effectively broke down social barriers, transforming distant neighbors into supportive friends and fostering a community spirit of mutual aid and civility, thereby solidifying social stability.

Yuxin Town has also embedded the concept of mass fitness deeply into daily life, fundamentally elevating cultural literacy and achieving widespread participation and shared benefits. For youth, villages and communities organized basketball and table tennis events under initiatives like the "Spring Mud Plan" during holidays. For older residents, activities such as fun sports meets, health runs, and walking events were held at cultural halls, libraries, and community gyms, realizing the goal of "everyone on the field, everyone sharing a healthy life."

Adopting a "sports as the stage, talent as the performers" approach, Yuxin Town converts event participation into talent development opportunities. On November 8, the town collaborated with Nanhu District's Talent Office to host the second "Vitality Yuli, Courageous Net Play" tennis exchange for talents at Nanhu Tennis Center, helping professionals thrive and realize their dreams in Yuxin, while building a sustainable talent ecosystem of attraction, cultivation, and retention.

Since 2024, Yuxin Town has closely linked tennis with its "primary resource"—talent development—successfully hosting two annual tennis exchange events. These gatherings bring together diverse talents in "Yuli," using tennis as a bridge for communication and friendship. Beyond enriching participants' cultural and sports lives, the platform facilitates cross-industry networking, expanding professional circles and deepening integration between talent and industrial chains.

Sports activities, as beloved cultural events, also serve as a comprehensive showcase of how Zhejiang's rural "Ten Million Projects" drive transformative change. Moving forward, Yuxin Town will continue optimizing cultural and sports offerings, deepening value extraction to sustain "event fever" as a catalyst for rural revitalization. Leveraging rural public sports infrastructure, the town aims to promote mass fitness, cultivate rural civility, and develop cultural-sports industries, keeping its rural sports and culture dynamic. By harnessing sports' "participation dividends" to unlock developmental "growth increments," Yuxin Town is actively exploring innovative models for diversified, integrated progress.
