PUTIAN FOOD, Fujian-Based Company Listed in Hong Kong for Over 13 Years, Faces Delisting

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced that it will cancel the listing status of PUTIAN FOOD (01699.HK) starting at 9:00 AM tomorrow (September 11).

The Exchange has required PUTIAN FOOD (01699.HK) to issue an announcement regarding the cancellation of its listing status.

On August 1, the company applied to the Court of First Instance for an interim injunction to prevent the Exchange from canceling its listing status pending the outcome of its appeal. On August 13, the Court of First Instance rendered its decision, ordering the dismissal of the injunction summons. Since the company has not obtained any injunction prohibiting the Exchange's delisting action, the Exchange will proceed with the cancellation of the company's share listing status.

PUTIAN FOOD (01699.HK) was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 13, 2012.
