Mixed Start for Domestic Futures: Soda Ash and Ethylene Glycol Surge Over 3%

On August 10, 2026, the early trading session saw a mixed performance among major domestic futures contracts. Soda ash and Ethylene Glycol (EG) both surged by more than 3%, leading the gains.
Fuel oil advanced over 2%, while Silver, SC crude oil, and Coking coal posted gains of nearly 2%. On the downside, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) monthly average price fell more than 2%, and Tin, Zinc, Lithium carbonate, Container shipping (Europe route), and International copper all dropped by over 1%.
