Tianli Holdings Group Limited (TIANLI HOLDINGS, stock code: 00117) has announced a proposal to change its English name to “EYANG Holdings (Group) Co., Limited” and its Chinese name from “天利控股集團有限公司” to “宇陽控股(集團)有限公司”.
The proposed re-branding is subject to two conditions: 1) approval by shareholders through a special resolution at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting (EGM); and 2) issuance of a certificate of incorporation on change of name by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands.
Management stated that the new corporate identity is intended to mirror the Group’s strategic shift toward the Multi-layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC) segment, whose revenue contribution has “significantly” increased in recent years. The Board plans further investment in MLCC production capacity, technology R&D and market expansion, positioning electronic component manufacturing as a core growth driver.
Operationally, the name change will not affect shareholder rights, daily operations, trading arrangements or the Group’s financial position. Existing share certificates will remain valid, and the Company’s stock code “00117” will be unchanged. Upon effectiveness, only new share certificates will carry the updated name, and the English and Chinese stock short names, corporate logo and website will be revised subject to confirmation by The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
A circular with full details and the EGM notice will be distributed to shareholders. No shareholders are required to abstain from voting on the special resolution. Further announcements will disclose EGM poll results, the effective date of the new name, updated stock short names and website information.
