WLS HOLDINGS (08021) announced that the group, one of Hong Kong's leading scaffolding service providers, has proactively reviewed the certification of scaffolding materials used at its sites following a major fire incident at Tai Po's Hong Fuk Court. Even before the authenticity of relevant documents was questioned, the company demanded suppliers reissue inspection reports according to stricter standards and submit material samples to laboratories upon arrival in Hong Kong for testing.

During verification, one major contractor reported being unable to contact the inspection center for further details on report validity. WLS HOLDINGS immediately filed a police report and reserves the right to pursue legal remedies if any violations are identified. For matters involving third parties, the group will continue cooperating with relevant authorities as needed.

The group has always strictly adhered to its policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards in project execution. Post-incident, it is reviewing related processes to further strengthen quality control over construction materials.
