JD Delivery has unveiled a substantial 2 billion yuan welfare enhancement initiative targeting its full-time riders. Official data released via JD's corporate blog on July 16 revealed the platform surpassed 150,000 full-time couriers by Q2's conclusion. Beyond standard social security packages, the upgraded benefits now include seasonal monthly allowances combating extreme temperatures alongside an innovative vehicle rebate program.

The company allocated 150,000 electric two-wheelers for rider purchases. Those completing 3,000 deliveries within 90 days using newly acquired bikes will receive full reimbursement for their vehicle costs. This incentive-driven structure aims to boost operational efficiency while reducing upfront expenses for couriers.

Pilot programs have rolled out across Beijing, Nanjing, and Changsha, with nationwide expansion planned progressively. The dual approach combines immediate financial relief through weather subsidies with performance-based capital recovery, signaling JD's intensified competition in last-mile delivery talent retention.
