Emperador Inc. (EMI) announced on Aug, 24 2026 that it will be added back to the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (GEIS) as a Small Cap constituent, following the results of FTSE’s Asia Pacific ex Japan ex China Regional Index Semi-Annual Review released on Aug, 21 2026.

The spirits producer is the only Philippine company newly included in the FTSE Small Cap segment in this review. The move restores the firm to the broader FTSE GEIS universe, placing it within both the Small Cap and All Cap benchmark categories.

Management said the company remains focused on expanding its institutional investor base, enhancing market liquidity and steadily increasing its investable market capitalisation.

Emperador is valued at about 5.1 billion Singapore dollars and operates brandy and Scotch whisky businesses across the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico and other international markets. The company is dual-listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange and the Singapore Exchange.
