Leader Education Limited (1449) has announced the resignation of an independent non-executive director, effective 30 January 2026. The departing director, who had been serving on the audit, remuneration, and nomination committees, is stepping down to devote more time to personal affairs.
In connection with this change, the board has appointed a new independent non-executive director to fill the vacancy also with effect from 30 January 2026. The appointee holds significant experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investments. He has entered into a one-year appointment contract with the company and will receive an annual remuneration of HK$100,000.
Following these changes, the newly appointed independent non-executive director will join the audit, remuneration, and nomination committees on the same date. According to the announcement, all related onboarding arrangements align with the company’s existing articles of association and regulatory requirements.
