AMD宣布，在美国政府批准销售后，计划恢复向中国出货MI308芯片。此前英伟达公司也获得了类似的半导体销售许可。
AMD发言人周二表示，美国商务部已通知该公司，MI308产品的出口许可证申请将进入审核流程。
这一决定标志着特朗普政府对华芯片销售限制立场的转变此前数周，特朗普政府一直坚称，限制对华芯片销售的政策不在讨论范围之内。数周前，美中关系缓和，英伟达首席执行官黄仁勋上周也与特朗普举行了会晤。
AMD曾在4月表示，MI308芯片的出口限制将导致公司损失约8亿美元收入。无独有偶，英伟达此前也证实政府已批准其H20人工智能芯片对华出口，该决定有望为该公司今年带来数十亿美元的营收增长。
