KORE US REIT said it has released detailed replies to substantial and relevant questions submitted by unitholders before its annual general meeting scheduled for Apr, 16 2026.
The manager stated that the recent USA-Israel-Iran conflict and the resulting spike in energy prices are not expected to materially affect operations because most electricity costs are recoverable from tenants.
On leverage, the trust’s gearing stood at 44.1% as at Dec, 31 2025 and is projected to remain broadly stable, with selective asset divestments being considered only if market conditions improve toward the end of 2026.
KORE US REIT reiterated its plan to increase distributions progressively, balancing payout growth with the need to preserve financial flexibility. No formal target payout ratio was provided.
Operationally, five of six speculative suites completed in early 2025 at The Plaza Building’s 10900 tower have been leased. A newly refurbished lobby at 10800 has also been finished, and another floor of speculative suites is under construction.
Management maintained that a portfolio liquidation would not maximise value in the current environment, citing limited transaction liquidity for US office assets. Instead, the focus remains on proactive leasing, asset enhancements and prudent capital management to support long-term unitholder returns.
