JINCHUAN INTL (02362) has released its interim results for the first half of 2026, reporting a 152.35% surge in revenue to $460 million and a 766.07% increase in net profit attributable to shareholders to $47.816 million, with basic earnings per share of 0.36 US cents.
The group's gross profit rose from $38.5 million in the same period of 2025 to $167.5 million in the first half of 2026, driven primarily by higher copper product revenue, supported by increased market copper prices, expanded production capacity following the start of operations at the Musonoi mine, and overall higher sales volumes. These gains were partially offset by higher mining and smelting costs, as well as increased depreciation and amortization related to the Musonoi mine.
