Xiaomi founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun announced via Weibo that he will begin a live stream at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow (April 17) to test the long-distance endurance of the new Xiaomi SU7 from Beijing to Shanghai. Lei Jun will participate in the entire journey and broadcast the event live for approximately 15 hours.

Lei Jun mentioned that early last year he stated, "I drove the SU7 standard edition, fully charged, from Beijing to Shanghai—a 1,300-kilometer highway journey—with only one charging stop in between. I was truly amazed." This remark attracted significant attention from netizens.

"This time, with the new SU7, I plan to live stream the journey for everyone. Starting at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow, I will conduct the long-distance endurance test from Beijing to Shanghai. I will be involved throughout and broadcast the entire process live for about 15 hours. Isn't this kind of live stream a bit crazy? Will you be watching?"
