China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co., Limited (Datang Renewable) reported that total power generation in July 2026 reached 2.13 million MWh, an 11.29% year-on-year decline.

Wind power, the core contributor, generated 1.59 million MWh, down 11.63% versus July 2025. Photovoltaic (PV) output decreased 10.24% to 0.54 million MWh.

For the first seven months of 2026, consolidated generation stood at 18.72 million MWh, falling 10.85% from the same period in 2025. Within this total: • Wind power delivered 15.62 million MWh, a 13.33% contraction. • PV generation edged up 4.11% to 3.10 million MWh, cushioning the overall decline.

Regional dynamics for July highlighted mixed performances: • Wind: Hainan (+89.24%), Jiangxi (+91.28%) and Xinjiang (+233.90%) posted notable gains, while Jilin (-35.67%) and Yunnan (-36.37%) saw significant drops. • PV: Shanxi (+29.55%) and Hebei (+25.71%) delivered double-digit growth, whereas Ningxia (-38.56%) and Guangdong (-25.80%) weighed on segment output.

Despite softer wind conditions across several northern provinces, steady PV expansion—particularly in Shanxi, Xinjiang and Hebei—helped moderate the Group’s overall decline through July.
