TBK & Sons Holdings Limited (Stock Code 196004) released its annual results for the financial year ended 30 June 2025. The Group, principally engaged in civil and structural works in Malaysia and the PRC alongside trading of oil and related products in the PRC, reported revenue amounting to approximately RM97.4 million, representing a decrease of about 66.2% compared with the RM288.1 million recorded for the previous financial year.

During the reporting period, the Group recorded a loss attributable to owners of the Company of RM28.3 million, compared with RM32.7 million in the previous year. The overall loss for the year was approximately RM31.2 million. The decline in revenue was mainly attributable to weaker demand in both civil and structural works projects in the PRC and the reduced oil trading activities, exacerbated by cautious market sentiment and geopolitical uncertainties.

Notably, civil and structural works in Malaysia contributed approximately RM81.2 million in revenue, while works in the PRC totaled around RM15.8 million. Trading of oil and related products in the PRC brought in about RM0.4 million in agency fee income, reflecting a significant drop from last year. Basic and diluted loss per share stood at 2.83 sen. The Board has not recommended the payment of a final dividend for FY2025.

As at 30 June 2025, the Group held total assets of approximately RM146.2 million and total equity of RM74.6 million. The Board emphasized its intention to adopt a prudent approach in both operations and investment planning, while continuing to seek new business prospects in civil and structural projects and exploring opportunities related to energy and logistics in Malaysia and the PRC.
