Geo Energy Resources Limited (RE4) said on May, 25 2026 that it has not received any official directive related to the Indonesian government’s proposal to centralise control of commodity exports.

The Singapore-listed coal producer stated that the initiative, aimed at strengthening state oversight and coordination across resource sectors, still lacks clarity on implementation details, administrative processes and documentation requirements.

Geo Energy added that its current production, logistics, customer relationships and export activities are proceeding as normal. The company will continue to monitor policy developments and engage with relevant authorities.

The group also confirmed that its MBJ Integrated Infrastructure project remains on schedule, with operations expected to begin in the second half of 2026 following successful truck trials last week. It noted that the ICI4 coal price was 64.43 United States dollars per tonne as of May, 22 2026.
