Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited on Jun, 30 2026 reported that its extractive businesses in Indonesia, held through PT United Tractors Tbk and other subsidiaries of PT Astra International Tbk, paid a total of approximately 982.9 million Singapore dollars to the Government of Indonesia for the 12 months ended Dec, 31 2025.
The disclosure, submitted under the United Kingdom’s Reports on Payments to Governments Regulations 2014, covers coal, nickel and gold mining operations across North Sumatra, Central and South Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, Central Sulawesi and South-East Sulawesi.
Of the total amount, about 610.2 million Singapore dollars was paid in taxes, 362.3 million Singapore dollars in royalties and 10.4 million Singapore dollars in fees.
By project, the largest contributions came from the Kapuas, Central Kalimantan project (roughly 370.4 million Singapore dollars), the Mining Contracting segment (about 352.4 million Singapore dollars) and the Martabe, North Sumatra project (around 239.5 million Singapore dollars).
