UBS has issued a research report stating that Wuxi Apptec Co.,Ltd. (ASX: 603259) is currently trading at 17 times its forecasted 2026 price-to-earnings ratio. The bank has set a target price of HK$171.2 for its H-shares based on a discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation, reiterating its 'Buy' rating. UBS anticipates that the direct fundamental impact on the company will be limited due to its minimal business exposure to the U.S. government, expecting any short-term operational effects to be negligible.

The report highlights that WuXi AppTec's operational momentum remains highly resilient, supported by robust demand in its TIDES and small molecule businesses. For the full year 2026, the company maintains its growth targets for its continuing operations, aiming for annual revenue growth of 18% to 22% and total revenue reaching RMB 51.3 billion to RMB 53.0 billion, which equates to a year-on-year increase of 12.9% to 16.6%. Management has expressed confidence in achieving these objectives and is actively exploring opportunities to raise its guidance.
