On November 17, Sohu.com (SOHU.US) released its financial results for the third quarter of 2025. The financial data shows that the company achieved total revenue of $180 million in Q3, maintaining steady growth. Non-GAAP net income attributable to Sohu.com reached $9 million, marking a turnaround from losses in the same period last year.
Sohu.com's Q3 revenue of $180 million represents a 19% year-over-year increase compared to 2024. Revenue breakdown includes $14 million from marketing services and $162 million from online games.
Dr. Charles Zhang, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Sohu.com, commented: "In Q3 2025, our marketing services revenue met expectations, while online games revenue and group profitability significantly exceeded projections due to our sustained efforts in gaming. This quarter, we achieved profitability for the group."
"On the Sohu Media platform, we continue to optimize products and integrate resources to better meet user needs and enhance their experience. Leveraging our product portfolio and signature events, we remain committed to producing and distributing diverse, high-quality content to energize the platform. Our differentiated strengths and unique IPs help us secure more commercial opportunities," Zhang added.
"In online gaming, both new and existing titles performed well, thanks to our deep understanding of user preferences and years of operational expertise," he further noted.
Additionally, under its previously announced $150 million ADS repurchase program, Sohu.com had repurchased approximately 7.6 million ADSs for about $97 million as of November 13, 2025.
