Hong Kong-listed Acme International Holdings Limited (ACME Intl, 01870) disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary, Green Global Development Limited, executed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with LONGi Solar Technology Co., Ltd. on 28 May 2026.
The framework targets: • Solar power projects exceeding 300 MW in aggregate capacity, with priority sites in the Philippines and New Zealand. • Energy-storage installations of more than 60 MW/240 MWh across Southeast Asia and Oceania, including Australia and Pacific Island nations.
Key terms: • LONGi will give priority to Green Global’s product and service needs and provide technical support across project development, construction, and operation phases. • Future implementation will rely on separate, project-specific contracts covering pricing, quantities, delivery, and technical specifications. • The framework is non-binding except for clauses on confidentiality, governing law, and jurisdiction; formal agreements are required before any obligations arise.
Strategic rationale: • ACME Intl aims to accelerate its regional green-energy expansion by leveraging LONGi’s leading photovoltaic technology, global supply chain, and project experience. • The collaboration is expected to enhance supply-chain efficiency and support ACME Intl’s long-term growth strategy in renewable generation and storage markets.
The board emphasised that shareholders and potential investors should exercise caution, as no definitive agreements have yet been signed beyond the framework.
