MetaOptics Ltd (9MT) announced on Dec, 08 2025 that it will showcase five proprietary metalens-enabled consumer electronics products at CES 2026, to be held in Las Vegas from Jan, 06 – 09 2026.
The lineup includes a 5G mobile smartphone featuring an ultra-thin camera module without a bump and a non-contact metalens 3D biometric fingerprint reader. The demonstration unit is built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCM6490 platform.
The company will also exhibit a rectangular metalens produced on a 12-inch glass wafer designed to align with standard CMOS sensors, enabling full-area image capture in a thinner and smaller module.
MetaOptics plans to debut metalens-integrated AI smart glasses powered by the Qualcomm AR1 Snapdragon processor, offering gesture-controlled image capture and tracking.
A second-generation pico projector, approximately half the size of the firm’s first model, will be shown with USB-C connectivity, silent fanless cooling and low power consumption.
Finally, the firm will present an enhanced image-sharpening algorithm developed with a Taiwanese AI partner; the software runs on Nvidia GPUs and is said to improve color image quality from MetaOptics’ IoT cameras.
Visitors can see the products at Booth 60213-7 during the exhibition, and product demonstrations can be arranged by contacting the company at sales@metaoptics.sg.
