联合包裹(UPS)今天公布的第三季度业绩超出华尔街预期,当季利润和收入双双恢复增长。
UPS报告,第三季度调整后每股收益1.76美元,较上年同期的1.57美元增长12%,也高于华尔街分析师1.63美元的预期中值。
联合包裹第三季度营收222亿美元,较去年同期增加5.6%,也略高于分析师预期的221.4亿美元。
这是联合包裹连续六个季度后终于恢复利润和收入增长。疫情期间电商热潮后,包裹运输需求一直面临下滑压力。与此同时,烦恼通货膨胀的消费者也纷纷转向更便宜的运输选择,挤压了运费利润率。
联合包裹第三季度营业利润率为8.9%,相比去年同期的7.7%有所提高。该公司因而上调了全年调整后营业利润率预期至约9.6%,不过也因客户对假日季包裹量预期下调而将全年营收预期从930亿美元下调至911亿美元。
