US stock futures jumped in early trading, with futures for the S&P 500 Index erasing losses to rise 0.21%.

Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh gave no indication to counter market expectations that the US central bank will leave interest rates unchanged at its meeting later this month.

Speaking during a moderated discussion on Friday morning in Bangkok at the International Monetary Fund's annual gatherings, Warsh avoided any comments on monetary policy or his view of the US economy, only restating that the Fed will ensure price stability.

Storage shares fell in premarket trading. SK Hynix down over 2%; DRAM, SanDisk, Micron down around 1%.

Shares of Nvidia-backed CoreWeave fell 3% in premarket trading, as investors worried about the debt financing behind the artificial intelligence build-out.

The loss-making cloud company has about $50 billion in debt and has become a focus of concerns that the data-center boom is being fueled by credit, straining newer players and pressuring cash flows even at giants such as Alphabet and Meta ‌Platforms.

Optical stocks jumped in premarket trading. AAOI, Lumen up around 2%; Coherent, Nokia up over 1%.
