Impro Precision: Q1 Revenue Climbs 22.5% to HK$1.43 Billion; Management Lifts 2026 Sales Growth Target to 15–20%

Impro Precision Industries Limited (Impro) released unaudited figures for the three months ended 31 March 2026, showing a robust start to the year and prompting management to raise its full-year sales outlook.

Total revenue reached HK$1.43 billion, up 22.5% year on year. Growth was broad-based across most markets and business lines, apart from ongoing softness in passenger cars and a marginal dip in surface treatment.

End-market performance • Diversified Industrials remained the largest contributor, advancing 36.8% to HK$832.90 million. Within this, demand linked to artificial-intelligence data centres underpinned sharp gains in high-horsepower engines (+29.0%) and the “Others” sub-category (+81.4%). • Automotive sales fell 7.3% to HK$363.50 million as passenger cars contracted 22.2%; commercial vehicles rose 9.0%, hinting at early recovery. • Aerospace, Energy & Medical revenue jumped 40.7% to HK$231.20 million, supported by strong aerospace (+40.0%) and a near-doubling in energy (+89.5%).

Business-segment mix • Investment casting: HK$567.20 million, +23.8% • Precision machining & others: HK$446.70 million, +17.7% • Sand casting: HK$398.00 million, +28.0% • Surface treatment: HK$15.70 million, –4.8%

Geographical spread Americas remained the largest region at HK$697.50 million (+23.6%), driven by the United States (+24.7%). Asia delivered the fastest growth, climbing 36.7% to HK$369.70 million, with Mainland China up 36.3%. Europe contributed HK$360.40 million, a 9.0% rise.

Management outlook Chairman and CEO Lu Ruibo highlighted sustained momentum from 2H 2025 into early 2026, citing particularly strong orders from data-centre-related engines, energy, recreational marine, aerospace and construction equipment segments. Despite headwinds such as currency appreciation, geopolitical uncertainty and expenses tied to capacity ramp-up, the company anticipates firmer demand in 2H 2026 and 2027. Reflecting its current backlog and market assessment, Impro has revised its full-year 2026 sales forecast upward to a 15–20% increase versus 2025.
