On August 31, SUNAC rose 8.15% in regular trading, trading at HKD 0.705/share, with turnover of HKD 218 million. The rally extends recent momentum following the release of H1 interim results and the formal unveiling of a strategic transformation plan.

According to the interim report published on August 28, SUNAC recorded revenue of approximately RMB 16.35 billion for the first half, down 18.2% year-over-year, while net loss attributable to shareholders narrowed 2.1% to RMB 12.54 billion. Total borrowings declined to RMB 186.18 billion, with the company highlighting its focus on resolving legacy debt risks and advancing business transformation. Earlier on August 24, SUNAC announced the acquisition of 100% equity in Erjin Management for approximately RMB 123 million, formally establishing an Asset Management plus Asset Operations strategic direction. The move marks a pivotal shift from traditional property development toward a lighter-asset model, with the two business segments set to operate independently while generating mutual synergies.

The property services arm, Sunac Services, reported attributable profit of approximately RMB 120 million, up around 71% year-over-year excluding disposal effects, with available funds of approximately RMB 3.29 billion.
