During the quarter ending June 30, the fund's private credit portfolio saw new or expanded loan commitments totaling $74.4 million, with funded investments amounting to $62.2 million.
Notable new commitments for the quarter included a $24.2 million senior secured term loan, a $1.3 million revolving credit facility, and a $3.9 million delayed draw term loan provided to a nationwide custom power systems platform provider. Additional commitments comprised a $13.2 million senior secured term loan, a $4.0 million revolving credit facility, and a $5.3 million delayed draw term loan extended to a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services provider. The fund also provided a $16.2 million senior secured term loan, a $2.9 million revolving credit facility, and a $1.0 million equity co-investment to a provider of structural repair services for apartment and commercial properties.
As of June 30, 2026, the investment cost of MSC Income's private credit portfolio was approximately $856.3 million, spread across 81 distinct companies. By cost, 92.4% of the portfolio was invested in senior secured debt, with the remaining 7.6% allocated to equity investments or other securities.
In the prior quarter, the company completed $54.8 million in private credit portfolio investments and $19.4 million in follow-on investments for its lower middle-market portfolio. The company had previously announced a shift from a quarterly to a monthly dividend distribution starting in July 2026 and approved a new regulatory leverage expansion, lowering the minimum required regulatory asset coverage ratio from 200% to 150%.
