Laopu Gold Proposes Amendments to Articles of Association to Enhance Governance

Laopu Gold Co., Ltd. announced plans to revise its Articles of Association in line with the Company Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Hong Kong Listing Rules. The proposed amendments aim to further strengthen the group’s corporate governance framework.

Implementation of the changes is contingent upon shareholder approval via special resolution at the forthcoming annual general meeting. A detailed circular outlining the amendments and the AGM notice will be published on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s website and on the company’s website, and will be dispatched to H-shareholders according to their selected communication method.

The board comprises Chairman and Executive Director Xu Gaoming, Executive Directors Feng Jianjun, Xu Rui and Jiang Xia, as well as Independent Non-Executive Directors Sun Yijun, He Yurun and See Tak Wah.
