(Source: Cangzhou Release) Recently, a batch of women's bodysuits coordinated by Cangzhou's New Silk Road Import and Export Service Co., Ltd. was quickly consolidated and shipped from Ningbo Port to Brazil. Behind this routine order lies the efficiency and convenience brought by AEO certification. As one of the first companies in Cangzhou to obtain customs AEO certification, Cangzhou New Silk Road Import and Export Service Co., Ltd. secured this "international credit card" under the precise guidance of Cangzhou Customs back in 2021. "For our foreign trade enterprises, time is cost, and speed is competitiveness," stated Chairman Li Jiangtao. He emphasized that AEO certification not only provides a lower inspection rate and faster customs clearance but also adds confidence in international cooperation. Leveraging this advantage, the company's foreign trade business has steadily expanded, with export volume reaching 88.4 million yuan in the first three quarters of this year.

Sun Yuanyuan, Deputy Director of the Enterprise Management Division at Cangzhou Customs, explained that AEO certification is advocated by the World Customs Organization, aiming to certify companies with high compliance, credit status, and security levels, allowing them priority processing of customs procedures, expedited clearance, and various preferential measures under mutual recognition with other countries. To ensure that enterprises truly benefit from policy dividends, Cangzhou Customs has prominently displayed "AEO Priority Processing" signs at business counters, opened dedicated "green channels," and assigned "one-on-one" coordinators for certified companies, providing comprehensive tracking services to promptly resolve customs clearance issues.

To broaden the reach of these policies, Cangzhou Customs, in collaboration with the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, established the "AEO Preferred Cultivation and Recommendation Database," focusing on leading companies in the supply chain, key import-export and tax-paying enterprises, and specialized and innovative firms to select and formulate a key cultivation directory. "We will tailor certification guidance plans for cultivating enterprises," Sun Yuanyuan stated. Currently, customs has prioritized AEO enterprises in the batch inspection of export dangerous goods and packaging, remote inspection pilots for bamboo, wood, and grass products, and reforms of the customs verification "enterprise self-check result recognition model," transforming services from a single clearance convenience to comprehensive empowerment across inspection, verification, and testing.

Policy support has bolstered enterprises' confidence in "exploring the world." Li Jiangtao revealed that the company is not only consolidating traditional trade relying on AEO certification but is also vigorously developing cross-border e-commerce. "The Northern (Cangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Logistics Base is under construction, which will be a strong backing for us to expand our market." He looks forward to leveraging this platform in the future to sell more products to the Southeast Asian market.
