VivoPower旗下子公司Tembo近日宣布，与电动汽车领域领军企业HmbEV建立战略合作伙伴关系，共同开拓规模高达110亿美元的澳大利亚商用电动皮卡市场。此次合作将整合Tembo专业的电动车改装技术与HmbEV的产业资源，瞄准澳洲矿业、农业等重型作业领域对零排放商用车辆的迫切需求。
双方计划通过改装传统柴油皮卡为纯电动车型，为澳大利亚市场提供高性价比的碳中和运输解决方案。该合作将分阶段推进，首批改装车型预计于明年上半年投入实地测试。业内人士指出，此次联盟有望加速亚太地区商用车辆电动化进程，并为相关企业提供可复制的商业模式。
