SIIC Environment Updates on H2 2025 Project Progress

SIIC Environment Holdings Ltd. (BHK) said on Jan, 30 2026 that it achieved a series of milestones in the second half of 2025 across its wastewater treatment, water supply and reclaimed-water businesses in China.

The group secured a Transfer-Operate-Transfer concession for the Chenzhou First Wastewater Treatment Plant, providing 120,000 tonnes of daily capacity from Jan, 1 2028 to Dec, 31 2064.

Two equity acquisitions in Dalian, Liaoning Province, with a combined capacity of 60,000 tonnes per day, were locked in during Dec, 2025. The company also reached preliminary agreements to acquire two projects in Anshan, Liaoning Province, totaling 230,000 tonnes per day.

New operation-and-maintenance contracts include a 60,000-tonne-per-day water supply plant in Weifang, Shandong Province, signed in Oct, 2025, and a 7,100-tonne-per-day industrial park wastewater facility in Hegang, Heilongjiang Province, which began operating in 2025.

Expansion and upgrading works advanced on multiple facilities: construction started on a 30,000-tonne-per-day Phase IV expansion in Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province; a 15,000-tonne-per-day expansion in Xiangtang Development Zone, Jiangxi Province, was commissioned; and three upgrading projects in Jiangsu and Shandong provinces, totaling 100,000 tonnes per day, entered operation during 2025.
