据外电消息，美国电信公司 Verizon Communications ( Verizon Comms ) 正在与 EchoStar （回声星通信 ）就收购其部分无线频谱进行谈判。
报道称，谈判涉及这家卫星通信公司所持有的 AWS-3牌照，该频谱在承载5G无线信号方面极具价值。
如果交易达成，Verizon将与 AT&T (T.N) 和 SpaceX 一样，成为EchoStar无线频谱牌照的买家。
本月早些时候，EchoStar表示，在利用出售频谱的收益偿还债务后，公司预计将持有 241亿美元现金，进一步增强资产负债表，并支持其在无线、卫星和科技领域的增长。
由于美国联邦通信委员会（FCC）对其遵守频谱建设规则及移动卫星服务频谱的使用情况提出担忧，EchoStar已开始出售部分资产。
根据报道，EchoStar在监管文件中披露，其AWS-3频谱的“账面价值”为 98亿美元。
其中另一部分频谱预计将在明年由美国政府进行拍卖。
受消息影响，EchoStar 盘后大涨8%。
