On October 18, the upgraded Zhangshanying Market in Yanqing District opened with a lively atmosphere. The market features uniform white tents, well-organized stalls, and uniquely designed food trucks, significantly enhancing its visual appeal and providing a comfortable and convenient shopping environment. Having operated for many years, Zhangshanying Market serves as an important venue for locals and residents from nearby Huailai, Hebei, to sell specialty agricultural products such as apples and grapes. To further increase visitor traffic, boost agricultural sales, and showcase regional cultural features, Zhangshanying Town initiated an upgrade of the market this year.

The redesigned market now includes areas for agricultural product exhibitions, food tastings, cultural experiences, and youth entrepreneurship. Major companies from the Yanqing area, such as Yanqing Greenfulong Company, Beijing Deqingyuan Company, and Zero Carbon Cottage, have set up stalls, bringing a diverse range of specialty agricultural products. Tourist attractions within Zhangshanying Town, such as Yudushan and Guyaju, as well as the Huiguang International Resort, have also established booths on-site to promote their unique offerings and attract visitors to purchase tickets.

In a thoughtful addition, China Post has set up a booth, providing various postal items and souvenirs, as well as courier services to ease consumers' transportation concerns. The market features a cultural square covering nearly 1,600 square meters, becoming a hub for cultural activities. On the opening day, the fourth Apple Carnival of Zhangshanying Town took place as part of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, attracting considerable attention with events like the King of Fruits Competition and apple-eating contests.

The newly revamped market will operate on the second and seventh days of the lunar calendar, as well as on weekends and public holidays, while offering various cultural and sports activities at the cultural square to provide richer cultural experiences for tourists and locals.
