On the evening of September 29, Chongqing Afari Technology Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Qianli Technology) issued an announcement stating that its controlling subsidiary Chongqing Qianli Intelligent Driving Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Qianli Intelligent Driving) plans to purchase electronic equipment and equipment installation engineering related to intelligent driving business research and development from Zhejiang ZEEKR Automobile Research and Development Co., Ltd., with a transaction price of 34.4388 million yuan (including value-added tax). This transaction constitutes a related-party transaction, and the source of funds is Qianli Intelligent Driving's own funds.

The announcement shows that the subject matter of this transaction includes two types of assets. First, 265 items of electronic equipment, with purchase dates concentrated between 2022 and 2025, covering core intelligent driving R&D hardware such as intelligent driving domain hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing systems, CANoe testing equipment, gigabit Ethernet converters, and bus communication equipment. Second, 3 items of equipment installation engineering under construction, including an intelligent driving domain controller OTA automated testing system, a surround view system AVM calibration room, and a forward intelligent perception system FAS calibration site. The main structures of the above projects under construction have basically been completed.

Regarding this asset acquisition, Qianli Technology stated in the announcement that as the scale of the company's intelligent driving business continues to expand, the assets proposed to be purchased have a relatively high degree of matching with its own R&D needs. The subject electronic equipment has completed parameter debugging and system adaptation, and the main structures of the projects under construction have basically been put in place, which can directly support the development of intelligent driving R&D work. Compared with repurchasing equipment and building new calibration sites, this asset acquisition can shorten the procurement, construction, and debugging cycle, ensure the continuity of the R&D system, and stably support the company's operations.

From the perspective of the integration background of the Geely system, this asset transfer is a continuation of the centralized integration of intelligent driving resources within Geely Group. Previously, Geely launched organizational adjustments in its intelligent driving segment, gradually transferring intelligent driving R&D teams scattered across entities such as ZEEKR and the Geely Research Institute to Qianli Intelligent Driving, creating a unified intelligent driving technology middle platform for the group and exporting the Qianli Haohan intelligent driving solution to all Geely passenger vehicle brands, including ZEEKR, Lynk & Co, and Galaxy.

Industry analysts believe that after the transfer of R&D personnel is completed, this internal transfer of supporting testing hardware and calibration site assets is a supporting step for the complete migration of R&D capabilities. By consolidating the group's internal intelligent driving R&D assets under Qianli Technology, it is possible to reduce duplicate investment across multiple brands, concentrate funds on the iteration of high-level intelligent driving algorithms, and achieve large-scale reuse of intelligent driving technology.
