半导体板块也同步走强，费城半导体指数涨幅扩大至逾4%。个股方面， 美国超微公司涨近10%， 高通涨近6%， 英特尔涨超5%，AI芯片、通信芯片及半导体设备方向均有表现。
消息面上，野村近期研报指出，AI基础设施建设持续推进后，光通信产业链上游材料供需趋紧。研报指出，磷化铟相关材料价格预计明显上涨，其中2英寸InP衬底价格预计上涨42%至76%，3英寸InP衬底价格预计上涨约78%；2英寸EML外延片价格预计上涨50%至75%，3英寸CW外延片价格涨幅预计超过40%。
从产业链来看，AI数据中心对高速互连、光模块和光电转换材料的需求提升，正在向上游光子材料、芯片和连接方案环节传导。Credo、Astera Labs、迈威尔科技等公司均与AI数据中心互连、网络芯片或高速连接方案相关，因此在光通信链条交易升温时表现更为活跃。
