9月16日，内蒙古中集新能源装备有限公司年产10000台全集成储能及数据装备制造项目在包头市昆都仑区正式竣工投产。该项目作为中集集团在西北地区的首个新能源装备制造交付核心平台，同时也是集团储能业务第五大生产基地，将精准补齐我国西北地区储能装备制造供应链短板，为包头市新能源产业升级和能源结构绿色转型注入强劲动能。
储能是构建新型电力系统的关键支撑，也是新能源规模化发展的重要配套环节。当前，内蒙古全力推进能源产业转型升级，做强国家重要能源基地，新能源装备制造产业迎来广阔发展空间。中集集团选择在包头布局，看重的是当地风光资源的富集与产业生态的成熟。
据内蒙古中集新能源装备有限公司相关负责人介绍，包头昆都仑区区位优势突出，紧邻京藏高速、包兰铁路，可高效辐射蒙、甘、新等风光资源富集区域；当地优质高效的政务服务和完善的要素保障体系，是企业扎根发展的重要底气。
据了解，项目一期聚焦储能装备主业，建成箱体制造、系统集成、检测交付、数字化管理四大体系，可形成年产10000台（套）储能箱体舱体、15GWh储能系统交付能力。项目达产后，将大幅提升包头及西北地区储能装备本地化配套能力，缩短交付周期、降低产业成本，带动装备制造、物流配套、现代服务业联动发展，为区域新能源产业培育全新增长极。
