On December 31, it was announced via the official WeChat account of KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513) that its "Sovereign AI" initiative has achieved new progress—the launch and operation of Malaysia's national-level MaaS platform and the Z·UM AI Lab, a national sovereign AI talent cultivation laboratory. The Malaysian national-level MaaS platform is constructed based on KNOWLEDGE ATLAS's Z.ai open-source foundational models, optimized specifically for Malaysia's multilingual environment—encompassing Malay, English, and Chinese—and local culture, thereby delivering robust capabilities in reasoning, coding, and agency while maintaining a sovereignty-centric data security architecture and the autonomy of a national-level AI platform, empowering various sectors including government, enterprises, scientific research, and student education. As the first Chinese company to achieve the substantive deployment of a national-level sovereign large model overseas, KNOWLEDGE ATLAS is also one of the few large model enterprises capable of completing the entire chain—from model deployment and platform-based services to ecosystem construction—within a national context. Moving forward, KNOWLEDGE ATLAS will continue to actively respond to global "AI+" cooperation initiatives, positioning large models as international public goods for the benefit of humanity and contributing to the construction of AI infrastructure in more countries.
