PLATEAU TL 2025 ESG Report: GHG Emissions Jump 52%, NOx Plunge 90%, Workforce Stable at 117

Plateau Treasures Limited (PLATEAU TL) released its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, detailing performance across climate metrics, workforce statistics and governance structures.

Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions rose 52.16% to 452,851 tCO₂e, driven mainly by higher Scope 2 emissions from purchased electricity, which increased to 361,377 kg from 208,544 kg. • Emissions intensity climbed to 3,871 tCO₂e per employee, up from 2,522 tCO₂e. • Nitrogen-oxide (NOx) emissions fell sharply by 90.4% to 264 kg, while particulate-matter emissions grew to 25 kg from 9 kg. • Electricity consumption edged up 1.98% to 516,000 kWh; diesel usage was virtually unchanged at 29,195 litres; water use declined 6.67% to 14 tonnes. • The company reported no environmental non-compliance cases.

Governance and Risk Management • The Board retains ultimate ESG oversight and has established a cross-functional ESG Committee that met twice during the year. • Climate-related risk assessment follows the TCFD framework, with transition and physical risks integrated into enterprise risk management and remuneration scorecards. • Plateau maintains ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety.

Social Indicators • Total headcount stood at 117 (88% male; 12% female) with an employee turnover rate of 0.9%. • No work-related fatalities or major injuries were recorded for the third consecutive year. • Training totaled 78 hours, averaging 0.7 hours per employee; 100% of managerial staff received training. • Zero incidents of child or forced labour were identified.

Supply Chain • The group engaged 70 material suppliers, all based in Singapore, and continues to apply a supplier code of conduct covering human rights, labour, environmental and anti-corruption principles.

Product Responsibility and Compliance • ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System governs the end-to-end process from design to delivery. • No product recalls or material customer complaints occurred during the reporting period. • The company reported no legal cases related to corruption, bribery, advertising, labelling or data privacy.

Looking ahead, Plateau TL plans to refine sectoral decarbonisation targets and deepen integration of climate factors into corporate strategy and compensation frameworks, as highlighted by the Board-approved ESG roadmap.
