On Thursday, the three major U.S. stock indices closed lower in unison. The Hang Seng Index ADR also declined, with a proportional calculation showing a close at 26,541.96 points, down 163.98 points or 0.61% from its previous close in Hong Kong. Major blue-chip stocks showed mixed performance. HSBC Holdings closed at HK$135.722, rising 1.13% compared to its Hong Kong close. Tencent Holdings closed at HK$532.399, falling 0.11% from its Hong Kong close.
