Times Electric (03898) has announced that Mr. Chen Jinrong has been nominated as a candidate for independent non-executive director of the eighth board of directors and will stand for election at an extraordinary general meeting.

The nomination was reviewed and approved by the company's nomination committee and board of directors on September 30, 2026, for shareholders to consider and elect at the extraordinary general meeting.

If shareholders approve the appointment of Mr. Chen Jinrong as an independent non-executive director at the extraordinary general meeting, his term of office will take effect from the conclusion of the extraordinary general meeting.

The board of directors also recommends appointing him as chairman of the company's audit committee, chairman of the company's remuneration committee, and a member of the company's risk control committee, effective from the conclusion of the extraordinary general meeting.
