Man Wah Holdings Limited reported a fresh on-market repurchase of 1.97 million ordinary shares on 20 May 2026. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HK$3.59 to HK$3.65, for a total consideration of HK$7.11 million. All repurchased shares are slated for cancellation.
Including earlier transactions on 18 and 19 May, Man Wah has acquired 15.20 million shares this month, equivalent to 0.39% of the company’s 3.88 billion issued shares outstanding when the current mandate was approved on 30 June 2025. Aggregate purchases to date remain well within the 387.81 million-share limit authorised by shareholders.
Volume-weighted average buyback prices were: • 18 May: 8.23 million shares at HK$3.7814 • 19 May: 5.00 million shares at HK$3.7404 • 20 May: 1.97 million shares at HK$3.6107
The latest transaction triggers a 30-day moratorium—until 19 June 2026—during which the company is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares without prior Stock Exchange approval.
Following the repurchases, Man Wah’s issued share capital stands unchanged at 3.88 billion shares pending cancellation of the bought-back stock.
