Prudential cancels 292,129 shares and reports further buybacks

Prudential plc announced on Dec, 03 2025 that it cancelled 292,129 ordinary shares repurchased on Nov, 28 2025, effective Dec, 02 2025, lowering its outstanding share count to 2,555,238,961.

The insurer also disclosed that it bought back another 274,050 shares on Dec, 01 2025 and 272,172 shares on Dec, 02 2025; these shares are slated for cancellation.

On Dec, 02 2025, Prudential repurchased 272,172 shares on the London Stock Exchange at prices between £10.88 and £11.05 per share, spending approximately £2.99 million under its 14 May 2025 shareholder mandate, which authorises the company to buy back up to 262.7 million shares.

Prudential confirmed the latest purchases were conducted on the London Stock Exchange and complied with that market’s regulations.
