Prudential plc disclosed that it bought back a total of 842,154 ordinary shares on Sep, 23 2026.

The repurchase consisted of two tranches: 415,614 shares were acquired under the authority granted at the company’s 2025 AGM held on May, 14 2025, while 426,540 shares were bought under the renewed mandate approved at the 2026 AGM on May, 28 2026.

All shares were repurchased on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging between GBP 9.438 and GBP 9.692 per share. The company intends to cancel the repurchased shares.

Following the separate cancellation of 673,399 shares bought back on Sep, 21 2026, Prudential plc’s issued share capital decreased to 2,485,101,605 shares from 2,485,775,004 shares.

An additional 1,672,893 shares repurchased on Sep, 22 and Sep, 23 2026 remain to be cancelled.
