CGN New Energy Reports 7.9% Rise in January Power Generation to 1,647.8 GWh

CGN New Energy announced that, according to preliminary statistics, the group achieved a total power generation of 1,647.8 gigawatt-hours in January 2026 on a consolidated basis, representing a 7.9% increase compared to the same period in 2025. By segment, generation from wind power projects in China decreased by 2.9%, while solar projects in China rose by 38.1%. Gas-fired projects in China surged by 1,200.0%, hydropower projects in China increased by 0.9%, and projects in South Korea grew by 23.9%.
