此前，中国市场监管机构周一有条件批准了美国芯片设计软件提供商Synopsys（SNPS.O）收购Ansys的交易，Synopsys随后宣布收购预计在7月17日左右完成。Stephens分析师Melissa Roberts分析指出，追踪标普500指数的被动基金需购买近7600万股Trade Desk股票，相当于大约九天的强劲购买需求。
截至周一收盘，Trade Desk年内跌幅超过35%，表现显著落后于纳斯达克100指数（.NDX）8.7%的涨幅，突显此次纳入指数的积极影响。
