BASiC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. disclosed a repurchase of 100,000 H shares on 29 September 2026, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The buy-back, executed on the Exchange, was priced between HKD 39.64 and HKD 40.40 per share, producing a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 40.03 and an aggregate cash outlay of HKD 4.00 million. The transaction represents 0.035% of the company’s outstanding H shares prior to the repurchase.
Following the purchase, BASiC Semiconductor’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 287.27 million shares, while treasury share holdings rose to 264,800. The total number of issued shares, including treasury shares, remains unchanged at 287.53 million.
The buy-back forms part of the mandate granted by shareholders on 28 August 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 28.75 million shares. To date, the company has repurchased 264,800 shares under this mandate, equivalent to 0.09% of the issued share base as at the mandate date. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales is in effect until 29 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong listing rules.
