On September 24, according to the administrative penalty information disclosure table published by the People's Bank of China Mudanjiang Branch, the Mudanjiang Branch of Bank Of China Limited was issued a warning and fined 50,000 yuan.
The penalty was imposed because the branch failed to process outstanding items in zero-balance accounts of budget units in a timely manner, which resulted in the occupation of fiscal funds.
The enforcement action was taken by the People's Bank of China Mudanjiang Branch, which oversees financial compliance in the region.
