MMG (HKEX: 01208) has announced it is continuing to advance the construction work for the Khoemacau expansion project located in the Khoemacau mining area.

The project includes further development of the Khoemacau concentrator plant and the external decline portal mining infrastructure.

On June 23, 2026, Khoemacau Copper entered into supply agreements, which included: (1) a bilateral supply agreement with Minmetals 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group to supply goods required for the mining infrastructure at the Khoemacau area; and (2) a tripartite supply agreement with (a) Minmetals 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group, responsible for supplying concrete and building materials for the external decline portal and the concentrator plant, and (b) Minmetals 15th Metallurgical Construction Group, responsible for supplying goods required for the construction of the concentrator plant at the Khoemacau area.

Also on June 23, 2026, Khoemacau Copper entered into a second construction agreement, which included: (1) a bilateral construction agreement with Minmetals 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group Botswana to carry out construction for the mining infrastructure at the Khoemacau area; and (2) a tripartite construction agreement with (a) Minmetals 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group Botswana, responsible for the construction of the external decline portal works, and (b) Minmetals 15th Metallurgical Construction Group Botswana, responsible for the construction of the concentrator plant at the Khoemacau area.
