Q3 2025 Earnings Summary for 18 Telecom Companies Including China Mobile, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom, NTT Group, and Vodafone

**Asia-Pacific** **CHINA MOBILE** released its Q3 2025 report. For the first three quarters, revenue reached RMB 794.7 billion (~$112 billion), up 0.4% YoY, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose 4.0% to RMB 115.4 billion. In Q3 alone, revenue grew 2.5% YoY to RMB 250.9 billion (~$35.4 billion), with net profit increasing 1.4% to RMB 31.1 billion.

**NTT Group** reported H1 FY2025 (ending September 30) revenue of ¥6.77 trillion (~$43.8 billion), up 2.8% YoY. Operating profit rose 2.7% to ¥945 billion, and net profit surged 7.4% to ¥595.7 billion.

**China Telecom** posted RMB 394.3 billion (~$55.6 billion) in revenue for the first nine months, up 0.6% YoY, with net profit climbing 5% to RMB 30.8 billion. Q3 revenue dipped 0.91% to RMB 124.8 billion (~$17.6 billion), but net profit grew 3.6% to RMB 7.76 billion.

**China Unicom** reported a 1.0% YoY revenue increase to RMB 292.99 billion (~$41.3 billion) for the first three quarters, with net profit up 5.2% to RMB 8.77 billion. Q3 revenue was flat at RMB 92.78 billion (~$13.1 billion), while net profit rose 5.4% to RMB 2.42 billion.

**SoftBank Corp.** saw H1 FY2025 revenue jump 7.9% YoY to ¥3.4 trillion (~$22 billion), with operating profit up 7.3% to ¥628.9 billion. Net profit attributable to owners grew 7.7% to ¥348.8 billion.

**KDDI** reported H1 revenue of ¥2.96 trillion (~$19.2 billion), up 3.8% YoY, and net profit up 7.6% to ¥377.7 billion.

**KT (Korea Telecom)** recorded Q3 revenue of KRW 7.13 trillion (~$4.85 billion), up 7.1% YoY, with operating profit soaring 16% to KRW 538.2 billion. Net profit rose 16.2% to KRW 445.3 billion.

**SK Telecom** posted a 12.2% YoY Q3 revenue decline to KRW 3.98 trillion (~$2.71 billion), while operating profit plummeted 90.9% to KRW 48 billion. It reported a net loss of KRW 158 billion versus a KRW 269 billion profit a year earlier.

**Singtel** reported H1 revenue of SGD 6.91 billion (~$5.31 billion), with net profit skyrocketing 176.4% YoY to SGD 3.4 billion.

**Americas** **Verizon Communications** posted Q3 revenue of $33.82 billion, with net profit surging to $4.95 billion from $3.31 billion YoY.

**AT&T** reported Q3 revenue of $30.71 billion and net profit of $9.28 billion, reversing a $226 million loss YoY.

**T-Mobile US** saw Q3 revenue rise 8.9% to $21.96 billion, though net profit fell 11.3% to $2.71 billion.

**Charter Communications** posted Q3 revenue of $13.67 billion, with net profit dropping to $1.14 billion from $1.28 billion YoY.

**Europe** **Deutsche Telekom** reported Q3 revenue of €28.94 billion (~$33.7 billion), with net profit at €2.43 billion, down from €2.96 billion YoY.

**Orange** posted flat Q3 revenue of €9.99 billion (~$11.6 billion), while EBITDAaL rose to €3.44 billion.

**Vodafone Group** saw H1 revenue grow 7.3% YoY to €19.61 billion (~$22.8 billion), but net profit attributable to shareholders fell to €829 million from €1.06 billion.

**Telefonica** reported Q3 revenue of €8.96 billion (~$10.4 billion), with net profit plunging to €276 million from €3 million YoY.

**BT Group** posted H1 revenue of £9.81 billion (~$12.9 billion), with post-tax profit down to £651 million from £755 million YoY.
