PSBC Board Approves Appointment of Lu Wei as President

Postal Savings Bank Of China Co.,Ltd. announced that its board of directors has approved the nomination of Lu Wei as a candidate for executive director of the bank, and agreed to submit the proposal to the bank's general meeting of shareholders for deliberation. Furthermore, the board approved the appointment of Lu Wei as President of the bank. His appointment is still subject to approval by the National Financial Regulatory Administration; Lu Wei will assume the role of President from the date he obtains the qualification approval from the Administration. Upon Lu Wei's assumption of the position, Yao Hong will cease to act as the performing President.

Resume information shows that Lu Wei, male, born in 1971, holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Deakin University in Australia. He previously held positions including Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of the Head Office Business Department of China CITIC Bank, General Manager of the Head Office Planning and Finance Department, General Manager of the Financial Accounting Department, General Manager of the Asset and Liability Department, Deputy Leader of the Hong Kong Branch Preparation Team, Board Secretary of the Head Office, Deputy Leader of the Altyn Bank Preparation Team, Party Committee Secretary and President of the Shenzhen Branch, Corporate Business Director of the Head Office, Party Committee Member and Deputy President, Party Committee Secretary, General Manager, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of CITIC Trust, and Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Executive Director, and President of China CITIC Bank, among others. He currently serves as a Party Leadership Group Member and Deputy General Manager of China Post Group Co., Ltd. and as the Party Committee Secretary of Postal Savings Bank Of China Co.,Ltd.
